In April, 2010 the Executive Board of the Omicron Delta chapter met in Washington DC for the Florence Nightingale Year of the Nurse celebration.  During their time in Washington DC they held the chapter's annual Executive Board meeting.  The Board was hosted by the University of Phoenix Washington DC campus and completed a lot of the strategic planning for the 2010 - 2011 chapter year. 

During the Executive Board's visit, Omicron Delta hosted a collaborative tea with other STTI members in the Washington DC area prior to attending the ceremony at the National Cathedral. Thanks to the following attendees for joining us! 

Karin Cox, Katie Holincheck (Epsilon Zeta Chapter), Kathleen Noel (Kappa Chapter), Dale Mueller (Region 2 Coordinator), and Omicron Delta members:  Sandy Carter, Pam Fuller, Angie Strawn, Marilyn Klakovich, Kelley Edds and Alison Collins. 

Later that afternoon, the Year of the Nurse ceremony was held at the National Cathedral.  The Omicron Delta chapter was proud to watch chapter member, Jose Planillo serve as a flag bearer during the ceremony.  It was an amazing event and something Omicron Delta was honored to be a part of!
